Rules & Regulations

The founder of the school is to be addressed as Sifu;

Be respectful towards your Sifu and fellow students and follow class instructions from your Sifu;

Do not interrupt your Sifu when he or she is teaching;

Unauthorized practice/teaching is prohibited – Only train with and teach students within the club with clear permission of the Sifu;

Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all members regardless of their gender, ability, martial art and cultural back-ground or religion;

Offer fellow members help and support at all times. Keep in mind that as you advance, ego is a constant enemy. Remain humble at all times;

Under no circumstances should anyone be bullied verbally, physically or as a joke,; if you have any contentious opinions - either political or religious - keep them to yourself; you never know who you might offend;

Always use self control and good technique to avoid injury to yourself and others;

Wear the required uniform T-shirt in class whilst training. Exercise proper hygiene when coming to and during class;

Remove jewellery and watches before training in class;

Keep the school clean and tidy;

Do not use the martial arts to injure others unless forced to in self defence or the upholding of justice;

Aspire to the highest possible standard of personal conduct and never bring the school’s name into disrepute;

Smoking, taking drugs or drinking alcohol are not allowed on the school premises;

Personal conflict between students and unlawful actions are not allowed in class. Any unlawful act committed by a student will be followed by immediate expulsion from the school.
